The Kings Executive are looking to see if there is enough interest/players to run a U9 for the 2022/2023 Season.
In the past our U9 numbers have been low. As a result we have not had a team in the past couple of seasons. Tier 1 is only being managed by the AA league.
The HEO policy indicates that a Tier 1 team must have 16 skaters and 2 goalies. Teams will travel inter-district where they will be divided into 2 teams to play half ice. Games will start at the end of October and run until the end of March. Practice time will be provided prior to games starting.
The cost is still to be determined but you can expect to pay a minimum of $1250.00 registration fee plus $500.00 fundraising fee. You will also be required to buy jerseys at a cost of $150.00. The jerseys are yours to keep until they no longer fit. Tryouts are at a cost of $175.00. If you sell all of your calendar lottery tickets then you can re-coup your fundraising fee. You can also obtain a sponsorship for your registration fees.
