Chris Thompson Memorial Award - Player of the Year

Cameron Kealey is the 2020 recipient of the Chris Thompson Memorial Award for Player of the Year from Minor Atom - Minor Pee Wee.
Cam had an enormous impact on not only the success of the Minor Atom Kings but also on each player individually. His leadership on and off the ice guided 14 other players through their first year as Kings players. Cam led the team in scoring and was a spark when the team needed it. During off ice sessions he was an example of what you needed to do to improve as a player and in turn improve as a team. Due to Cams hard work, talent and leadership it was evident he was the Most Valuable Player on the Minor Atom Kings and was voted as such by his teammates. For the coaching staff, you knew what you were going to get from Cam during games, practices and off ice sessions and it was all going to be done with calm leadership and a positive attitude. For all of these reasons Cameron Kealey exemplifies Most Valuable to his team!
